Are these reviews real? Is the bedwetting Store and Malem Ultimate Selectable Bedwetting Alarm scared of the Competition?

When the sales rank of the Malem Bedwetting Alarm plunged to 16,000. That’s when Bedwetting Stores reviews started pouring in. We have put in screenshots for two timelines. On April 13, 2010, the Malem Alarm had 60 reviews. Note that the Malem alarm was selling on Amazon since 2005. So It took 5 years to get 60 reviews at an average rate of 12 reviews a year.

Then in 2013, just 3 years later, the reviews jumped up to 188! That means 43 reviews a year, up 4times from what is normal. To protect the integrity of this blog if the Bedwetting Store decides to remove blogs, we have made copies and saved screenshots which we have pasted below.

Were these reviews posted by staff members of the Bedwetting Store? Are these reviews from Family, Friends or Other Sources of the Bedwetting Store? …Do these reviews matter?

Unable to compete with the quality and features of other alarms which have better design and functionality and are priced a quarter of the Malem Ultimate Selectable Bedwetting alarm with Vibration – Royal Blue., the Bedwetting Store has resorted to full scale lies.

Bedwetting Store realized that the only way to compete with low cost alarms is to artificially post reviews the Malem Ultimate Selectable Bedwetting Alarm.

No parent should have to purchase a product tons of fake reviews specially for a child.
We hate deceit! We’ve contacted and informed the Amazon Review Team. We are taking all measures and will try our best to get these reviews taken out soon.

Malem: Very Strong Deceit – Fraud on Amazon – Getting Amazon to Remove Negative Reviews

We have reported earlier on Malem alarms and the Bedwetting Store’s Very Strong Deceit on Internet Review Sites, particularly Amazon. We have also raised the issue elsewhere in the blog wondering how Malem alarm and the Bedwetting Store had reduced (have deleted) many of the negative ratings they had received from legitimate Amazon customers. We particularly remember two such verified reviews. We recall seeing them, then they disappeared, then it was placed back in by the customer. We really do not understand why Amazon should have kowtowed to the Bedwetting Store and removed these very honest, accurate, relevant, non-abusive review which said that the Malem alarm was a 1-star product, and explained why. Is it because the Bedwetting Store advertises on Amazon and sells so many alarms that Amazon is happy making 15% commission of all sales? We have forwarded copies of this blog to Amazon and asked them their reasons to take down these reviews. We continue to insist that they repost these genuine reviews. If you read this blog, we ask that you forward a copy of this blog to seller-performance@amazon.com and complain against the Bedwetting Store and their deceitful tactics.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased the alarm with high hopes and as the last resort for my son. After weeks of dedication and frustration, we have given up. The problem with the alarm is that it is not loud and does not wake up my son. Selecting the tones is also very difficult. The instructions are not easy to follow, so we stuck with his favorite tone. I have followed all instructions and both his mom and I are ready to assist if needed when the alarm sounds at night, but unfortunately, the alarm is not loud. Neither my wife, my son nor I can hear it at night. He is a deep sleeper and sleeps on his side, sometimes where his alarm is clipped and sleeps over the alarm. To make matters worse, the alarm sound is barely audible from under the sheets. We turned off air conditioning and turned on the fans as the air conditioning sound was suppressing the alarm sound, but this isn't helping either. I wish the alarm were louder. After weeks of using it, we have been through a wave of setbacks and it's not worth playing with his emotions anymore. I have spent a lot of money on this system and it is unfortunate that its going to waste.

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I am not satisfied with my purchase. The alarm is not loud and has not woken up my son in the past 3 weeks; not even once. I have read that the parents have to wake up the first 2 weeks, but this alarm is so faint that even I don't wake up to it, neither does my wife.
I am most frustrated with the erratic performance of the product. My daughter woke up wet one night and the alarm did nothing. I repositioned the slip, but still nothing. Could be a defective clip. But at times, it started beeping like crazy when there was no urine. I was unable to shut off the alarm by following instructions. The only way to turn it off was by removing the batteries. Now that is challenging in itself. Opening the battery door is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT. I nearly broke my fingers. It is so tight.
The alarm is built very poorly. I It fell on the hardwood floor last night from the bed (2 feet high) and the battery door broke. We now have it taped up.
After 3 weeks she has made zero progress. This is not how the product is supposed to work, no matter what anyone says. In my opinion, its just another cheap product not worth the price.

Bedwetting Store: Customer Ripoff Report

Ripoff Report has a simple motto “Don’t let them get away with it. Let the truth be known!” Of all the bedwetting alarm manufacturers and sellers. The only one to get featured on this dishonorable list is the Bedwetting Store.

This site is known for honest customer reviews and we were not surprised to find an angry customer ripping off whom else, but the Bedwetting Store.

It is shameful that the Bedwetting Store will stoop so low. For them it is about money. There are no ethics and no principals. They are governed by the law of greed.

The consumer report has been published in full with permission. The complete rippoff report can be found at http://www.ripoffreport.com/r/Bedwetting-Store/internet/Bedwetting-Store-With-Webite-Wwwbedwettingstorecom-Product-did-not-work-as-claimed-Bed-360610

Bedwetting Store With Webite Www.bedwettingstore.com Product did not work as claimed. Bedwetting Store refuse to refund. Ashton, MD Internet

Last July my wife purchased from the website of Bedwetting Store, www.bedwettingstore.com, a product they call the "Rodger Wireless Alarm System". We bought it for our kid's bedwetting problem.

Below is the claim of the Bedwetting Store for the product.

"Introducing the Rodger Wireless Alarm System a complete dry-solution to your child's bedwetting problem that's easy to use. Your child will find it easy to wear because the underwear fits just like normal underwear. But with a very special difference the invisible Rodger Bedwetting Alarm on Boythreads sewn into the underpants that connect to two press-studs near the waistband. At bedtime, your child attaches a small transmitter to the press-studs on the underpants. The alarm receiver plugs into a convenient outlet in your child's bedroom, or can be operated with batteries. When your child wets a few drops, the Rodger alarm receiver sounds - alerting you and your child that they are wetting."

The product, which comprise of an alarm apparatus and 2 underpants, cost $120.00 and has a six months warranty.

Also take note than in the catalog of Bedwetting Store they proudly asssert "Your satisfaction is always guaranteed at the Bedwetting Store" and they even have a graphics of a stamp mark with the words "GUARANTEED!"

With those claims and the company's guarantee, we went to their website and purchase the product online.

The problem is -- when the product arrived and our kid used the product it does not work!

My wife called their customer support and they instructed us to wash the underpants because "maybe it is still starchy". So we followed their instructions. We also followed their instruction to test the product when the underpants dry up. Using a salt and water solution we wet the underpants and indeed the alarm sounded.

So we let our kid used it again but then it still would not work as my kid woke up soaked wet and the alarm did not sound. My kid used the other underpants and still the product is useless. Take note that during these times my wife sleeps with our kid and the alarm system is just 2 to 4 feet away.

My wife called customer service again to report the problem. They said maybe the size of the underpants are wrong but the size that we bought is the correct size and fit nicely to our kid.

The Bedwettingstore.com customer service then asked my wife to ship back the product so they could test it and we have to wait for about 40 days to know about the result of the test. So my wife told them that we would rather have our money refunded.

But the customer service rep said that they have to test it first and if it works then we can not refund. My wife argued that of course it will work in the test just as it worked when we tested it with the salt and water solution. But the point is it does not work when it is used by our kid contrary to their "GUARANTEED!" declaration. But the rep just continued to argue that that is their protocol.

So with no other option left we shipped back the product. After several weeks my wife received a call from them saying "there is nothing wrong with the product", as we expected it! They gave my wife only two options: (1) they will ship the same useless product back to us or (2) they will send us a new product called "Wet-Stop" that costs only $69.95. Naturally my wife chose option 2, for what will we do with a defective product?!

So our $120 was ripped off by Bedwetting Store and my wife was forced to accept another product that is valued at only $69.95 and we don't even know if this one is another defective product.

They said they cannot refund us because the product was already used. How would we know if the product works or not if we will not let our kid used it?! And they said that since it works in their lab then the product is ok. Again the fact is, it works when we did the test solution too. But obviously the test solution is different from a kid's urine.

My wife, who by the way is a family physician, and I now would start an information campaign to expose these fake claims of Bedwettingstore.com and against their apparent malpractices.

Just Home Medical: Pissed Consumer Reviews

It appears that not only are consumers fed up with he Bedwetting Store, but even more frustrated with the parent company – Just Home Medical.
For their dishonest business practices, deceit and trickery, Just Home Medical has been awarded with a page of their own on Pissedconsumer. These are comments and reviews from real people who have realized that they have been cheated buy the dishonest business practices of the Bedwetting Store.
All of the complaints have been against the new Dry-Me bedwetting alarm which was launched by the Bedwetting Store.

Just Home Medical - Dry-Me didn't work

I just found another Amazon Review from charmaine kalehuawehe with 1 star for Just Home Medical and their sister company Bedwettingstore.com's Dry-Me bedwetting alarm: "this product was a waste of money did not work for my daughter, i wouldn't recommend it to anyone, sorry " I have just entered into this mismatch between people who obviously have a bad product, and another party that...

Just Home Medical - Another smack-down from Amazon for terrible Dry-Me

Hank says: The alarm is not good. It did not wake up my son. Was not loud enough. In just a few days the clip broke and he could not use the product anymore. My wife sewed a pouch onto his underwear which he would use. But the alarm just doesn't do the job. It is not loud and he sleeps through it. Sometimes it beeps when he moves in bed. At other times, it just beeps for no reason at all. I... Read more

Just Home Medical is an arrogant company.

Another haunting from JB on Amazon: Hey guys, if you want to buy a bedwetting alarm there are bigger and better distributing companies other than Just Home Medical. This company is so arrogant that no wonder when you buy something from them no one calls them for a return. The alarms themselves are like toys - all alarms. The malem alarm is not effective in waking up my son. For 6 days straight,... Read more

Just Home Medical - Dry-Me is a PAINFUL product for kids

I've never written a review before, but this product is so bad, I had to say something. First, with children, you need things that are soft, not things that will dig into their skin or pinch them while they are sleeping. Secondly, what good is an alarm that goes off long after the poor child has soaked the bed ! Therefore, I sadly report that this product in addition to hurting the child,... Read more

It is only a matter of time before consumers shift gear and stop purchasing from them. The clock is ticking for Malem and the Bedwetting Store.
